WINDOWS BASICS
(a short outline for beginners)

Introductions and Questions
	Where the computer books are
	Previous experience with computers and mice?

MOUSING:

Parts of the mouse.
		How to hold it.
		It's buttons.
		Take apart a mouse.
		Why it moves on the screen the way it does.

Hands on the mouse.
		Practice moving and pointing: lines , circles
                   and squares.
		Pointing at things.
		What I mean by clicking and double-clicking.


WINDOWS:

Parts of the Windows interface:
		Program manager:
		Parts: Title bar, Minus sign, up and down triangles,
                   and command headings.
		Icons and windows (two types): group and program icons 
                   and windows. (Why ours looks the way it does.)

Using Windows:
		Opening and closing a window.
		Minimixing and maximizing a window.
		Sizing, moving, tiling and switching between windows.

Start a Program and show it off a little.
