When was the last time you promised to change a habit, and did? How much time do you waste by overreacting or fearing the worst? All of us are faced with challenges every day and we need to be able to solve these problems and stay calm and productive under pressure. With self-discipline and emotional control, there isnít anything you canít handle or achieve in terms of what you want out of life. This workshop will provide techniques to help you handle crisis, remain in control and reduce stress. Through class discussions and exercises, you will learn to develop techniques for taking control of your life.

Speaker
Marti Peden is a human resource and development consultant specializing in management and employee training programs. She has twenty years of experience in the training field working with clients in business, health care and libraries. Marti is a popular Support Staff Conference speaker and has conducted many workshops for CAMLS and other library systems.
