A new wave is sweeping across the country-the manager as facilitator of work teams. With organizations changing their style of managing employees, the facilitation of small groups becomes absolutely essential. In this workshop, you will learn effective group participation techniques and will interact in groups to gain mastery over these skills.

Speaker
Marti Peden is a human resources and development instructor specializing in management and employee training programs. She has twenty years of experience in the training field working with clients in business, health care and libraries. Marti is a popular Support Staff Conference speaker, and has conducted many workshops for CAMLS and other library systems.
Intended Audience
Anyone who is interested in helping his or her library or department achieve its goal. CAMLS encourages its 1996-97 and 1997-98 Committee Chairs and Secretaries to attend this workshop.
