Access is a two-day course, March 26 & 27, designed to teach the basics of a database management system (DBMS). It will cover four object types: tables, queries, forms, and reports. The attending participants will learn the process of database normalization as they are taught design concepts for a fully functioning database system. Students will learn to create tables and modify virtually all table properties including validation rules, input masks, and format codes.

Course Content

Create single and compound indexes
Improve the efficiency of the database system
How to create user-input forms and custom reports
Learn basic concepts of a relational database management system (RDBMS).

Audience: Individuals with a solid working knowledge of Windows 95. 98 or 2000

John Paul is the President and owner of Winsoft, a software training firm. He has been a professional speaker for over eight years. He routinely conducts computer seminars nationwide and is an expert in the Microsoft Office product line.
