CAMLS is pleased to host the videoconference site of Come Blow Your Horn, the Ohio Library Councilís popular showcase of best practices in youth services. This workshop will be presented at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Administration Building through a live feed from the State Library of Ohio. A whole new program for 2022 highlights the best and brightest accomplishments of childrenís and YA departments from all across the state. Come relax and gather dozens of great ideas that you can implement back at your library.

Course Content

  • Weird Science Halloween Party
    Using a Mad Scientist theme, designed as an alternative to the traditional Halloween party
  • In Search of Cinderella
    An eight month series of programs featuring global destinations, promoting diversity and cultural awareness using the common thread of folklore
  • Prom Spectacular
    Bringing together a variety of product and service vendors, providing high school students with one stop shopping for all of their prom needs
  • Betcha Canít
    A program for 3rd through 5th graders who are given a bet based on a subject, then given a chance to answer correctly or make a bet
