While copyright is an issue for all educational institutions, schools often have questions that are specific to school settings. This workshop will discuss the basics of copyright law and recent changes, the 2022 TEACH Act, educational fair use and getting permission. A large part of the workshop will be used to give opinions on specific questions or scenarios relating to school libraries and departments. Registrants are asked to forward detailed questions on specific scenarios to the presenter ahead of time at [email protected] if possible.
