This workshop will cover the basic skill set necessary for library staff to feel comfortable in a Windows environment. The two-hour session will be particularly helpful to CLEVNET libraries that need to get their staffs up to speed for the SIRSI migration. The course content includes all of the prerequisite skills recommended by CLEVNET.

  • Launching a program from the desktop
  • Resizing windows
  • Minimizing/Maximizing/Moving/Closing windows
  • Alt Key/Tab Key/Home and End Key
  • Understanding the task bar
  • Right click options
  • Navigating Select/Pull Down Lists
  • Cut/Copy/Paste/Undo
Audience: Anyone wanting to build basic skills in a Windows environment
CAMLS Staff members Terri Pasadyn and/or Elaine Terman, will conduct the training.
