AM SESSION

This course is designed for those with little or no experience searching the Web who wish to be able to understand some of the capabilities of the Internet as well as be able to locate and download information from the Web. It will include an overview of the what the Internet is, how it has evolved and how information is transferred across networks. The majority of the workshop will address web browsers and search engine strategies. Gain Web confidence in a Windows environment and attend this hands-on workshop. Prerequisite: Microsoft Windows

Audience: Non-MLS employees who have taken an introductory class or support staff who have knowledge of browsers and are comfortable in a windows environment.
