However much we may try to believe differently, we all know that we have responsibilities and that we are required to perform at expected levels. And we know that we alone choose the course of our lives and the measure of happiness that we derive from them. The essence of this program boils down to getting people to become “personally accountable” –that is having an attitude of rising above their circumstances and doing whatever it takes to get the results they desire. Every day, each of us has the choice to be controlled by others and by circumstances, or to take control of our work lives by accepting responsibility for tasks and accountability for our results.

Course Content

  • Embracing accountability-awakening your power within.
  • Taking control of your choices and your life.
  • Staying strong in the face of challenges.
  • Taking charge of your attitude.
  • Holding others accountable for their actions.
Audience: This workshop is designed for managers, supervisors and staff in the library organization.
