This TWO DAY class teaches the fundamentals of a relational database. Students will create tables with an understanding of normalization rules, field properties, and record editing. This includes data validation, streamlining database size , and proper indexing to maximize performance. Participants will to create relational tables and use them in relational queries. Other query topics include sorting, filtering, manual vs automatic table linking, and calculated fields. Students will also be taught form creation for data entry and basic report creation.
