| Principal Duties: | Cultivate and build joint partnerships in the Neighborhood Team area to benefit the patrons served. Manage and coordinate existing partnerships. Responsible for Neighborhood Team operations; responsible for leadership, direction and supervision of Neighborhood Team Branch Managers (9-10) and lateral responsibility for system-wide and departmental initiatives, programs and services that lead to increased utilization by members of the community. Reports to the Head of Branches & Outreach Services. |
| Qualifications/ Requirements: |
MLS from an ALA accredited library school. Four years of post graduate degree experience in public librarianship, preferably branch service delivery. Minimum of five years experience in library management with at least three years in supervision. Strong sensitivity to diverse urban populations and their needs.
