Title:	Supervisor of Children's Services
Organization:	East Cleveland Public Library
Location:	Main library and two branch libraries
Hours:	37 ½ per week, including evenings and weekends

Principal Duties:	Supervises children''s services staff at the main library. Coordinates children''s and young adult programs, collection development, and outreach services at all ECPL locations. Participates in collection development, reference and reader''s advisory for children''s and young adult services. Manages the development of programs that include bibliographic and technology instruction for younger library users. Develops and continues partnerships with local schools and other organizations in the community. Works in cooperation with the adult services department to develop family oriented programs.
Qualifications/ Requirements:	MLS from an ALA-accredited library school. At least two years of professional experience including programs and storytelling, as well as book selection, reference and reader''s advisory for children and young adults. Other required skills include: excellent customer service skills; thorough knowledge of electronic resources for children and young adults; ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
