Principal Duties: Manages, plans and coordinates the work of the Cataloging unit. Catalogs, manages databases and organized information resources. Contributes to library decision making. Provides leadership in marketing and coordinating a program of scholarly information management and retrieval for faculty and students; serves on teams to carry out library goals. Supervises assigned personnel. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Master''s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program; one to three years experience in the application of cataloging standards (AARC2, LCSH, LC classification, and MARC21). Knowledge of metadata standards. Demonstrated ability to apply technology in a library environment. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment. Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience. Work experience in project management. Catalog experience in a college/university library.
