Principal Duties: | Creates innovative programming that fulfills the educational mission and goals of the Center and the needs of the greater community. Facilitates and implements all public programming; coordinates in program evaluation. Works with Tri C faculty and students, local schools, and other community organizations to customize workshops and educational materials to suit their needs. Cultivates relationships within the educational community. Works with Director in planning and implementing new projects. Convenes the Educational Advisory Committee to ascertain the appropriateness and relevancy of the educational goals of the Center. |
Qualifications/ Requirements: |
B.A. degree Minimum of five years experience working in educational nonprofit or school settings Experience in facilitating interactive workshops, especially with alternative, nontraditional techniques. Ability to work with diverse groups of all ages, sizes, including students and professionals Must be adept at creating educational programs based on issues of diversity, conflict management, the environment and global education Strong leadership abilities, with flexbility to work as a member of a team and to work independently as needed Knowledge of trends in education and rapport with members of educational community |
