Title: Finance Director/Deputy Clerk Treasurer

Hours: Full-time, (37.5 hours), possible evening and weekend hours.
Salary: Grade 13
Principal Duties: Performs a variety of administrative duties as related to the library''s financial record keeping and reporting functions including,but not limited to: developing and implementing system-wide long and short-term financial plans; preparing and administering the Library''s annual budget; preparing financial reports for the Board of Trustees and the State Auditor; managing cash investments and bank balances to meet the organization''s needs; directing system-wide financial policies and procedures; developing and maintaining payroll and budgetary accounting and reporting systems in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code and the Ohio Administrative Code; overseeing the auditing of all accounts; and directing the work of the Business Office and Shipping and Receiving departments.
Qualifications/
Requirements:
Candidates will possess previous professional finance experience with a demonstrated working knowledge of the principles and practices of financial reporting and record keeping as applied to public libraries, or other non-profit or governmental organizations. A Bachelor''s degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited university required. Candidates possessing CPA certification and/or public sector or public library finance experience are preferred.
