| Principal Duties: | Assist students, faculty and other Library users with their information and research needs by using the Libraryís internal and external information resources. Participate in a strong classroom instruction program in library use and research methods. Participate in collection development in assigned subject areas. Prepare print and web-based instructional aids for students and faculty. Assume responsibility for special projects or roles as needed and feasible. The position reports to the Instructional Services and Reference Librarian. |
| Qualifications/ Requirements: |
A Masterís degree in Library Science from an A.L.A. accredited library program, a strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and experience in using personal computers and the Internet are required; experience serving and instructing library users, preferably in an academic library, is highly desirable. |
