The Shaker Heights City School District, a national leader in education serving a diverse community just east of Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking an innovative leader to provide vision and generate enthusiasm for libraries, library media, and technology integration. The candidate needs to understand the benefits of a strong library media program and how it can support and enhance the total curriculum. Expertise in and appreciation of technology combined with the ability to work with the district's technology staff is critical. The successful candidate will oversee eight libraries, the centralized library media office, and their staffs as well as providing leadership in the use of technology as a tool for sharing information and knowledge.
