| Principal Duties: |
Responsible for the delivery of mobile services according to predetermined approved schedules. Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates mobile unit staff. Participates in community outreach activities and events. Meets with community representatives and attend community meetings. |
Qualifications/
Requirements: |
Knowledge of public library service proctices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, internally and externally. Ability to apply good analytical and discernment skills Competence in database searching and comfortable with changing technology Ability to drive a 32ft mobile unit in all weather conditions Valid Ohio Driver's License with good driving record and insurable driving status MLS from an accredited School of Library and Information Science. Two years experience in public libraries and one year supervisory experience. Knowledge of children's library services and knowledge of Spanish language desirable. Experience driving an oversized vehicle desirable. Ability to pass background & driver's record check. |
