Principal Duties: |
Implements and coordinates the system-wide staff training program. Responsibilities include conducting training needs assessments; coordinating the development and design of training modules for each staff position; coordinating and/or conducting training sessions including arranging for instructors and scheduling sessions; maintaining records; evaluating training programs; and assisting with other projects as needed. |
Qualifications/
Requirements: |
ALA accredited MLS or within 6 hours and six months of graduation; coursework in adult education and/or staff development; minimum of two years experience in adult education/staff development; knowledge of adult training techniques, needs assessment techniques, organizational development strategies; and excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. |
