| Principal Duties: |
Under the direction of the Branch Manager. Responsibilities include providing reference assistance to children through print and electronic resources; providing readers advisory for children, parents and teachers; planning and presenting children's programs and activities; conducting class visits for local school children; evaluating, selecting, ordering and weeding books and other materials for children's department; and other duties as assigned. |
Qualifications/
Requirements: |
MLS preferred, prior library experience preferred, experience working with children required, Ability to use Internet and other new information technologies and excellent community relation skills required. |
