- Principal duties:The position manages the Lending and Collection Access Services unit. Key responsibility areas in this unit include circulation, shelving, retrieval, stock maintenance, OhioLINK patron-initiated circulation, and building security. Other duties include supervision of staff and students, development and administration of library circulation policies, enforcement of Library and University policies with the Office of Judicial Affairs and Campus Police.
- Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree. Two years experience in an academic, public or special library. Strong supervisory experience or equivalent responsibility directing people or projects. Experience operating on-line library circulation system or experience with equivalent computer applications. Initiative, flexibility and ability to respond effectively to changing needs and priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong service orientation and ability to work effectively with staff, students, and faculty. Preferred Qualifications: An MLS from an ALA-accredited program.
