Principal duties: Warren-Trumbull County Public Library seeks a creative, dynamic individual to serve four branches and Bookmobile in a growing county wide system. Plan and carry out programs for youth under direction of Branch Services supervisor. Help coordinate summer reading program. Provide reader's advisory; conduct library tours and participate in outreach to schools and day care centers. Assist in collection development, including print, media and electronic resources. Work schedule may include nights and weekends.
Qualifications/Requirements: ALA accredited MLS. Have or obtain valid Ohio driver's license. The successful candidate should demonstrate the following professional attributes: strong commitment to public service; knowledge of library trends and current issues; knowledge of emerging technologies; verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
