Mentoring is an important component of the total learning.

The selected mentors have a wealth of experience in public, school, academic and state libraries and state library networks. They will share real-life leadership experiences, successes, failures, joys, frustrations, wisdom, perspectives and advice.

The mentors will also facilitate discussions, give brief presentations on topics of special meaning to them, and schedule time to meet with participants to discuss career goals.
