Elyria Hires Director
The Elyria Public Library Board of Trustees has announced that Pamela G. Bonnell has been named as the library's new director.

Bonnell comes to Elyria from Waco, Texas, with over twenty-six years of experience as a library professional and manager. Bonnell has served as director of Library Services for the Waco-McLennan County Library System, library manager for the Plano Public Library in Plano, Texas, reference librarian for the Dallas Morning News, librarian for the Management Services Research Library in Dallas, and librarian for the U.S. Army Center Library at Fort Rucker, Alabama. she also served as a consultant for the U.S. Federal Energy Administration where she organized and established a special energy conservation/technical library,

Avon Lake Names Mary Crehore Director
Mary Crehore, director of the Grafton-Midview Public Library, has accepted the directorship at the Avon Lake Public Library. Mary will assume her new position April 22. Mary has been at Grafton since 1997 and served as the CAMLS Board President during FY00/01. She replaces Marty Miller who moved to Michigan in late 2001.

Kathi Blakey
will be the interim director of the Grafton-Midview Public Library effective April 14.

Carroll Named "Woman of Achievement"
Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library Director
Holly Carroll has been selected to receive a 2022 Woman of Achievement Award from Lakeland Community College's Women's Center. The award honors women for encouraging and supporting other women in their pursuit of advancement in education, economic and community life.

Orrville Public Library Announces New Sports Collection
For many years Orrville resident Ron Coppa has videotaped school and community sporting events around the Orrville area. Through his generosity and the donation of video duplicating equipment by Armstrong Cable Services, Coppa's collection is now available to the public through Orrville Public Library. There are over 400 videos in the collection, including some sports events dating to 1941. Library customers may also purchase duplicate videos for $10 each.
