The second in a series of opportunities for paraprofessionals to discuss relevant issues, network with their peers, and explore their growth potential will feature the ABLE approach to career and life management.
The Adult Balanced Life Enhancement (ABLE) Inventory is a tool developed and used by the career counselors at Cuyahoga County Public Library’s InfoPlace to help people harmonize their work and personal lives, and ultimately attain greater success and fulfillment in all areas. ABLE workshops have been successfully used for wellness programming, leadership training, and to promote job satisfaction.

Presenter
Martin Jaffe has been a career counselor at InfoPlace since 1987 and the manager since 1992. He is a former librarian, and was director of Project ACTION at Lorain County Public Library from 1983 until 1987. He holds an M.L.S. from Case Western Reserve University and an M.Ed. in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University. Martin has used the ABLE inventory in education and in life planning. |
