No matter how often you use the OPLIN databases, there is always something new to learn. This one day session will offer you uninterrupted time to review NetWellness 2000 and Health Reference Center - Academic. You will learn the characteristics of each database and have the necessary time to practice away from the reference desk. More importantly, this session will give you the best advice on when to use each database. |

Course Content
- NetWellness 2000 is a nonprofit consumer health Web site that provides information created and evaluated by medical and health professional faculty at the University of Cincinnati, Case Western Reserve University, and Ohio State University.
- Health Reference Center is a consumer health database, provided by NetWellness that includes the full text of articles, pamphlets, and medical reference books.

Presenter
Jay Burton currently manages the Library and Professional Development Division of the State Library of Ohio. An Ohio resident since 1995, Jay has previously worked with public libraries and the Utah State Library Division. He is also a former elementary school teacher. |
