Ohio’s networks and agencies continue to be innovative and trend-setting institutions. This year’s CAMLS Annual Meeting will feature Michael Butler from OHIONET, Ellen Stepanian from INFOhio, Carol Roddy from OPLIN, and Tom Sanville from OhioLINK who will lead a discussion on the present and future of Ohio libraries and the networks and organizations that lend essential support to them.

OHIONET now serves more than 370 libraries with a wide range of support and training programs for Internet and OCLC’s cataloging and interlibrary loan services. In addition, OHIONET offers discount purchasing, consulting, and website hosting

InfOHIO is a partnership among local school districts, Data Acquisitions Sites of the Ohio Education Computer Network, and the Ohio Department of Education. With over 500 schools as participants, InfOHIO’s four main components are: Library Automation, Union Catalog, Medianet, and Electronic Resources.

OPLIN provides the residents of the State of Ohio fast, free Internet access through the state telecommunications network, as well as the use of high-quality research databases not freely available on the World Wide Web, through their local public libraries.

OhioLINK members serve a student and faculty population in excess of 500,000 in the 56 Ohio universities and colleges. There are now 65 reference and research databases available through OhioLINK.

Come to the CAMLS Annual Meeting and find out what Ohio''''''''s ground-breaking four major networks are doing to expand and improve service to their respective constituencies.
