Technology Training Opportunity
Thursday, December 6, 6 p.m. Software Answers will host a free "Closer Look" seminar on Microsoft Certification at their facility at I-77 & Rt. 18 in Montrose. This seminar will cover the training and testing required for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified SolutionDeveloper (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), and the NEW Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) paths. There will also be a discussion of the recent changes in Microsoft's position on retiring the Windows NT 4.0 certifications.

Monday, December 10 Joint meeting between Children's Services & Young Adult Services Committees

Cuyahoga County Public Library - Administration Building "The N-B-Tweens". A joint committee meeting with the Childrens and Young Adults Committee on issues librarians are facing with patrons who fall "N-B-Tween" the Children's and YA departments. Also, a heads up with the current literature out to attract the attention of grades 4-6.

Cuyahoga County Public Library - Independence Branch Equipping staff to deal with problem behavior. John Dunn, Security Specialist at Cuyahoga County Public Library will speak about how a library should position themselves with policies and guidelines and what resources are available for problem patrons.
