Boyce chair in Library and Information Science and is Professor of Library Science, Information Science and Telecommunications in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Griffiths is also the director of the University of Pittsburgh Sara Fine Institute for Interpersonal Behavior and Technology. The Institute was established to address the problems and questions arising from the interaction between technology and people and is intended to be a forum for scholars and professionals to address the human aspects of a technological society.
