| Principal Duties: |
Shaker Heights Public Library is seeking a creative and energetic Youth Services Librarian. Responsibilities include providing reference, readers advisory, and early literacy services to children. This position coordinates outreach work and programming to local preschools and daycare centers and serves as a liaison to the Play and Learn Center, a preschool literacy program of interactive activities for children ages birth to five. |
Qualifications/
Requirements: |
The successful candidate will have experience with early literacy, outreach work and programming with young children. M.L.S., knowledge of pre-school literature, and familiarity with the developmental needs of children required. |
