David N. Myers University Library Resource Center received an LSTA mini-grant for $7,398 from the State Library of Ohio to develop tutorials and training modules on library resources which will be linked to the library's webpages. The Library will work with the School of Online and Distance Learning and with university instructors to incorporate library resources into online courses.

Taylor Memorial Library
has named Kevin Rosswurm as the Library's new director. Rosswurm is currently the director of the Orangeburg Public Library in Orangeburg, New York. Early in his career, he was the Head of the Philosophy, Religion and Education Division at the Akron Summit County Public Library.

On May 6, Medina County District Library Director Barbara Webb will assume her new duties as the Head of Neighborhood Branches of the
Washington D.C. Public Library.

John Guscott of the Lakewood Public Library has been
designated one of the profession's visionaries in the Movers & Shakers
supplement of the March 15 Library Journal. John is credited for starting the Library Futures Quarterly, a journal that tracks the technological, social, political, and economic changes that could affect public libraries.

Achala Wali of The Foundation Center-Cleveland received an ALAO/OLF Scholarship at Kent State University's School of Libraryand Information Science Alumni Awards and Honors Dinner April 9. The award is given to an outstanding SLIS minority student.

Former CAMLS Assistant Director Millie Fry will retire on May 31, 2022 from her position as SOLO Executive Director. Millie was employed with CAMLS from 1986 - 1997, during which time she implemented Library Leadership 2000, the first leadership institute in the state of Ohio.
