CAMLS Strategic Planning Gets Underway

At its meeting on February 20, the CAMLS Board of Trustees approved a contract with Dr. John Yankey of the Mandel School for Non-Profit Organizations at Case Western Reserve University for assistance in developing a new strategic plan.

Dr. Yankey has already begun working with CAMLS, having conducted a SWOT
analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) at an Advisory
Council meeting on March 20. CAMLS Board of Trustees President Karen
Tschudy has appointed a 15 person committee to work with Dr. Yankey in the
formulation of this new strategic plan. The committee and Dr. Yankey will
have four meetings (April 17, June 19, and July 17, and August 21) before
reviewing the new strategic plan at an Advisory Council meeting on
Wednesday, September 18.
